The Nduranz team just got back from Eurobike 2025. It was five days packed with thousands of visitors and a few celebrity moments. We probably broke a world record for the number of times the word “carbohydrates” was used in one day!
Honestly, the experience exceeded all of our expectations. Not only did we make some great connections and get to geek out about fueling science, but we learned a lot too. Here are our key insights from the event.
1. Athletes Worldwide Want Science, Not Hype
Eurobike started on Wednesday with the B2B days. We met with potential partners from around the world to discuss how to make Nduranz products available on other continents (we’ll keep you updated on this!).
We were thrilled about the interest because it confirmed what we already suspected: customers are tired of hype. They want products that are based on science, not trends. And the business community is responding to that demand.
2. Nutrition Isn’t Just for Elite Athletes Anymore
On the weekend, Eurobike opened to the general public. That’s when the Nduranz stand got really busy. People turned up eager to try out our fueling calculator, learn about CHO ratios, and discover how nutrition can take their performance to the next level.
A big highlight was when Dr. Tim Podlogar, our Head of Research & Development, gave a masterclass lecture on fueling nutrition and the biochemistry of performance.
Bear in mind Dr. Tim never dumbs down the science. Yet even when he dove into CHO transporters and the finer points of metabolism, the audience stayed fully engaged. And these weren’t just pros in the crowd—most were amateur cyclists, eager to learn. It was proof of how far nutrition literacy has come in the endurance world.
We also had Benji Naesen—one of the most recognized cycling content creators—share his personal journey. His talk wasn’t as technical as Tim’s, but just as compelling. His struggles with weight loss and performance struck a chord with many.
Because sports nutrition isn’t just for elites anymore. It’s for everyone who wants to ride stronger, smarter, and longer.

3. Personalized Nutrition Is the Future
We had dozens of conversations that started with “here’s my problem” or “this is what I struggle with.”
Athletes—both on the pro and amateur level—simply aren’t settling for one-size-fits-all nutrition. They want science-backed solutions for their unique needs and training sessions.
We created fueling plans on the spot and helped mix-and-match products based on CHO intake and session type. And, even if we had to explain why two servings of Nrgy Drink 45 is not the same as one serving of Nrgy Drink 90 hundreds of times (it’s the electrolyte content!!!), we loved the enthusiasm.
4. The Basics Matter
At exactly 13:00 on Saturday, the Nduranz stand exploded. That’s when 4x Tour de France champion Chris Froome stepped up for his talk. He shared details about his career, how his fueling plan has changed throughout the years, and the nutrition plan for the legendary attack on Colle delle Finestre at the 2018 Giro.
As expected, Froome got asked a lot of high-level questions after the talk. But the best question? It came from a 6-year-old girl in the front row. She just wanted to know, “What does protein taste like?”
It was a reminder that—even though we spend a lot of time talking about amino acid profiles and CHO ratios—the basics like taste still matter.
5. Froome Fever Is Real
Froome’s talk was followed by a meet & greet. It was so popular that we blocked the hallway! While we are sorry about the traffic jam, you can’t blame people for wanting a signed bottle and photo with a cycling legend.
Oh, and we’ve got some more of those bottles—you just might get a chance to get one soon. 👀

What’s Next?
The five days flew by. We had so much to talk about that the 9-hour car ride back to Slovenia flew by without us noticing.
Now that we are caught up on sleep and have sorted through our contacts, one thing is clear: Eurobike was just the beginning.
We are more motivated than ever to make Nduranz products available to athletes worldwide, simplify fueling, and build a community that values science over hype.
If you stopped by the stand—thank you.
If you missed us—stay tuned. We’ve got a lot more coming.
