SWIM

1 Nrgy Unit Gel Caffeine consumed 5 minutes before the start of the swim, providing a quick energy boost to kickstart the race.

CYCLING

  • A carefully prepared bottle containing 10 Nrgy Unit gels ensuring a steady supply of carbohydrates throughout the cycling leg. Arthur aimed to consume the equivalent of 2 Nrgy Unit gels per hour to maintain optimal energy levels.
  • 500ml bottle of Nrgy Drink 90, providing hydration and additional energy to sustain his performance.
  • 500ml bottle of Zero Drink electrolytes to replenish essential minerals and maintain electrolyte balance.
  • Regular water intake at every feeder to stay hydrated and maintain peak performance.

RUN

  • At the start of the marathon, Arthur fueled up with 1 bottle of 500ml of Zero Drink electrolytes and 1 Nrgy Unit gel, kickstarting the run with a burst of energy.
  • Every 30 minutes, he consumed 1 Nrgy Unit gel to maintain a steady flow of carbohydrates(1 gel at 30’, 1 gel at 60’).
  • At 90 minutes, Arthur refueled with another bottle of 500ml of Zero Drink electrolytes and 1 Nrgy Unit gel, ensuring hydration and energy for the second half of the run.
  • At 120 minutes, he repeated the intake of 1 bottle of 500ml of Zero Drink electrolytes and 1 Nrgy Unit gel to sustain his performance.
  • At 140 minutes, he consumed 1 Nrgy Unit gel for an extra boost.
  • Throughout the run, Arthur hydrated by drinking at least 2 cups of water at each feed station, maintaining his fluid balance.
